Fourteen-year-old Addi is a gifted boy who was raised by a clairvoyant mother. Balli is a misfit who was raised by a drug-addicted mother and aggressive stepfather. When Bali meets Addi and his friends, Konni and Siggi, the boys develop strong friendship. Addi is fighting his own demons and, when his visions appear to indicate that Balli's brutal stepfather can no longer be tolerated, the boys decide to act.
